Traffic stop leads to multiple charges for Oshawa resident – Peterborough County OPP

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Highway 115 at approximately 9:00am yesterday morning. The driver was found to be prohibited from driving.

Benjamin FOSTER (age 39) of Oshawa, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code-three counts
  • Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
  • Driving while under suspension
  • Use plate not authorized for vehicle

The accused had their vehicle impounded for 45 days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 1, 2020.
