
POWER OUTAGE IN PARTS OF PORT HOPE
Crews are working on finding a cause for a power outage in Port Hope.
Shortly before 5:10PM, emergency services were called to the area of Pine St and Augusta St for arching power wires.
Residents in the area report that the power went out, and shortly after they head a large bang. Residents went outside to check on the noise and could see arching wires.
Hydro crews have been dispatched, and are still working on finding the cause to the outage. The Elexicon Energy website states that approximately 501 – 5000 customers are without power in Port Hope.
