Missing person found deceased by OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit

As a result of information received, the Peterborough Police with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a search of the Otonabee River on November 23rd, 2020.
At approximately 3:15 pm, the OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit (USRU) located the body of missing person Brett Leblanc.
The investigation by the Peterborough Police Service has concluded and this is now a Coroner’s investigation and no further information will be provided.
The Peterborough Police Service wish to thank members of the public who had assisted in this matter in attempt to locate Leblanc.
