Man arrested for Cobourg break and enter

On the morning of Sunday, December 13, police attended a call for a motion and glass break alarm at a pharmacy located in Cobourg’s west end. Upon arrival, police discovered the door had been broken, and the pharmacy had been entered.
As a result of police investigation, 25-year-old Jordan CROSS of Cobourg was arrested and charged with the following:
- Break and enter commit an indictable offence contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000 contrary to section 355(b) of the Criminal Code
- Failure to comply with a release order contrary to section 145(5)(a) of the Criminal Code
CROSS was held in police custody pending a show cause hearing.
