Two employees at Rhinos Roadhouse on the shores of Rice Lake in Bewdley have tested positive for Covid-19.
After admitting to flu-like symptoms, both employees were asked to get a Covid test, and the restaurant was closed by management in caution.
A follow-up on Rhino’s being closed as of Saturday January 2nd. Some employees had flu-like symptoms, and were told to get a Covid test before coming back to work. Management thought it was best to close the restaurant until all tests results were in. Unfortunately 2 employees tested positive for Covid-19.
We are keeping the employees in our thoughts for a speedy recovery. The 1 said employee did not have direct contact with any customers as he stayed in the back. The other employee has not been at work since December 27th.
We have been in contact with the local health unit and following their guidelines as per protocol.
Safety continues to be our top priority. We will continue to take measures to support the well being of our customers and employees.
-Increased sanitization of all items being used
-Wellness checks will include self evaluation as pre guidelines
-Temperature checks for employees at start of shift
-Encouraging regular hand washing
-Continued use of masks for customers and employees
-Take out services only as per government mandate
Thank you everyone that has reached out and continues to support us!
We will keep you updated to when management feels it is safe to open up again!
