“FRINK” IN COBOURG CLOSED UNTILL FURTHER NOTICE AFTER EMERGENCY COUNCIL MEETING

The Town of Cobourg would like to inform residents that, after careful deliberation from Municipal Council during the 6 p.m. Special Emergency Council Meeting yesterday evening, it was unanimously decided to temporarily close the Rotary Harbourfront Outdoor Skating Rink until 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 until further clarity is provided from the Provincial ‘Stay-At-Home-Order’.

“We are trying to get this right in a very challenging and difficult environment,” said Mayor John Henderson for the Town of Cobourg. “Once we receive further direction from the Ontario Government on the ‘Stay-At-Home-Order’ we can move forward with a more permanent decision on the rink.”
