BREAKING – DRIVER LUCKY TO BE ALIVE AFTER LOSING CONSCIOUSNESS DURING COLLISION AND FOUND THE NEXT DAY

It was shortly after 3 PM this afternoon that emergency services were called to Dingman Rd, east of Tobacco Rd for a single vehicle MVC in Cramahe Township.

The driver of a white pickup truck travelling westbound had gone off the road the night prior, striking a guard rail, and coming to a stop before a nearby river.

It is reported that the driver lost consciousness during the collision and awoke to be found walking on the road towards Tobacco Rd around 3PM this afternoon.

The truck was invisible from the road which would have made it impossible for passing vehicles to spot the truck.

The victim was transported to hospital with possible hypothermia symptoms.

We caught up with the concerned citizen who located the victim who told us when he found the victim he was shaking and walking very slowly.

Emergency services have since cleared the scene.
