Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting radar patrol on Highway 115 last night. Shortly before 8:00pm an officer clocked a vehicle travelling at 159km/h in a posted 100km/h zone. 

The 29 year old driver of Guelph, Ontario was charged with: 

• Stunt driving in relation to excessive speed

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on April 12, 2021.
