BREAK AND ENTER AT A BUSINESS IN ALDERVILLE FIRST NATIONS

On February 17, 2021 at approximately 2:28 am, members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to attend an alarm at a business on County Rd 45 in in Alderville. 

Officers attended the address and discovered that the suspect(s) had forced entry into the business and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cigarettes.  

The Northumberland OPP is asking for the public’s assistance with this ongoing investigation and would ask anyone with information to call their nearest OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Peterborough/Northumberland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 and not have to appear in court.
