It was shortly before 2AM this morning that emergency services were called to a single vehicle roll-over with entrapment on CR-28 just north of Dieppe Rd.
A plow operator with Hamilton Township was the first on scene and stayed with the lone occupant until emergency services arrived. Upon arrival, emergency services found a black Dodge mini-van on its roof in the east ditch of the road.
The vehicle was travelling southbound on CR-28 when it left the roadway and rolled over in the ditch. Hamilton Township Fire Department utilized the jaws-of-life to extricate the lone occupant from the vehicle.
Northumberland Paramedics assisted the driver to the ambulance where she was assessed and transported to hospital to be treated for what appear to be minor injuries.
The vehicle has since been removed by a tow, and emergency services have cleared the scene.
