Male charged with impaired after blowing five times the legal limit – Port Hope Police

On March 24, 2021 at 7:30pm a Port Hope Police community partner, K9ine security owner David Hutnyk observed a vehicle driving in an unsafe manner southbound on Rose Glen Rd in the Town of Port Hope.

The driver of the vehicle, Bradley Chilvers, age 41 from Port Hope turned into the Beatrice School Parking lot where David followed to ensure the driver was ok.

Upon speaking to the driver David could immediately tell the driver was impaired by an overwhelming smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle. He called Port Hope Police Service and the man was arrested for: Impaired Operation – Alcohol

Chilvers was released on an adult undertaking to appear in court in early April.
