Port Hope Police make an arrest after a break and enter

In the early days of March 2021, Port Hope Police Service responded to a break and enter at a building that is under construction on Pine St.

Through investigation Port Hope Police saw a man gain entry to the building through CCTV. He stole a Milwaukie saw with a value of $500.00.

After further investigation, Port Hope Police identified the man as Nathan Drew, age 40 of Port Hope.

On April 23, 2021 at 6:20pm Drew was arrested by Police and charged with Break and Enter – Commit indictable offence and Adult theft under $5,000.

Police say Drew was released on an undertaking and will appear in court to answer to the charges.
