
Cobourg man charged with stunt driving in Port Hope
The Port Hope Police have charged a driver with Stunt Driving after being observed by police.
Police say a 23 year old male from Cobourg is facing charges of drive motor vehicle – perform stunt.
Police observed the driver take off from a stop sign at a high rate of speed, so fast that the tires lost traction and the vehicle almost struck an oncoming vehicle.
The male was released on a summons to attend court in June, 2021 to answer to the charge.
