Three Port Hope area hero’s are walking for 24 consecutive hours in support of Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada

Three members of the fire service living within the Municipality of Port Hope have set off to walk 24 consecutive hours wearing full firefighter bunker gear on the main track at the historic Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto, Ontario. The walk is to raise funds for the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada.

They say that “by walking in full Firefighter bunker gear for 24 hours, we walk in solidarity with those who are giving so much and to say, Thank you for your service of looking after our most vulnerable citizens.”
