Quinte West OPP seeking information in break and enter investigation

The Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter of a utility trailer that occurred in Trenton.

On October 11, 2021, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Quinte West OPP responded to Northumberland Boulevard in Trenton after receiving a report of a utility trailer being broken into. Video footage was reviewed, and officers determined the incident occurred in the early morning hours of October 11, 2021 between 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Two males were observed on footage forcing their way into a trailer where they stole various items including tools valued at approximately $5000.

One suspect is a shorter white male, approximately 30-40 years old, balding with large bald spot on the back of his head, with possible tattoos on their left forearm. The second suspect is a taller white male, approximately 40-50 years old with shoulder length hair. Additionally, the vehicle used by the suspects appears to be an older model Ford Escape.
