Peterborough County OPP – Weekend impaired charges

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Chemong Road at approximately 10:00pm on November 13, 2021. Witnesses reported that the vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. The uninjured driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol. 

Nicole BARKER (age 31) of Port Perry, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 21, 2021.

Later that evening, members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Graham Road at approximately 11:45pm on November 13, 2021. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a hydro pole. The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs.

Stephanie MACSUGA (age 27) of Bancroft, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 22, 2021.

The next day, members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 28 at approximately 6:30pm in afternoon. The driver was found to be under the influence of drugs.

Helen SCHNORRBUSCH (age 57) of Scarborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

• Operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on December 23, 2021.
