Port Hope Police worry missing Port Hope woman Madison CHARD may have fallen Victim to human trafficking

Police worry that missing Port Hope female Madison (Madi) Chard has fallen victim to Human Trafficking. Port Hope Police Inspector, Katie Andrews confirmed with Northumberland County Breaking News Feed that the Port Hope Police Service cannot and will not overlook the possibility of Chard being a victim of Human Trafficking after recent tips from the public.

Andrews stated “It isn’t uncommon for those who have fallen victim to human trafficking to not have access to their mobile devices or banking”. Adding “We have received tips along the 401 corridor from Windsor to Montreal”

Often times, victims of human trafficking fear police and family, becoming loyal to their traffickers. Port Hope Police say they will respond and act on every tip received from the public.

Madison Chard was last seen in Port Hope, ON, on April 19, 2022. She has not been heard from since.

She was last described as a 29-year-old female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is approximately 163 CM tall with a thin build. She has tattoos behind her ears, and on her neck, chest and thighs.
