Lindsay man arrested following alleged assault: Kawartha Lakes Police

Kawartha Lakes Police say that on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 they received a call for a reported assault at a William Street North address. When they arrived, they received a report from the victim indicating that he was walking over the Wellington Street bridge when a male in which he knew allegedly pulled his vehicle over, approached the victim, and struck him multiple times resulting in minor injures to the male.

Police say the suspect left the area prior to their arrival, however through investigation were able to identify and locate the alleged suspect.

32-year-old Daniel Walton of Lindsay has been charged with assault. The accused will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, located at 440 Kent Street West in Lindsay on August 4, 2022.
