Brighton resident charged with stunt driving after police say they clocked the driver traveling 120 KM/HR above the posted speed limit in Prince Edward County

OPP say a 41-year-old from Brighton was charged with stunt driving on Loyalist Parkway in Prince Edward County, Saturday evening after telling police their “car is (was) to fast”.

OPP allegedly clocked the vehicle traveling 200 KM/HR in a posted 80 KM/HR zone. OPP say the vehicle was impounded for 30 days, and the 41-year-old’s licence was suspended for 14 days.

If convicted in court, the driver could face fines up to $10,000 or up-to six months imprisonment.
