Peterborough County OPP are investigating after a vehicle was stolen from a Havelock-Belmont-Methuen address

Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate the theft of a vehicle from a residence on the 6th Line of Belmont.

The theft occurred the night of September 26, 2022 between 9:00pm and 11:00pm. The suspect stole a 2017 black Volkswagen Jetta bearing Ontario marker CJSL346 and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) 3VWB67AJ7HM351520. The vehicle was last seen at a gas station in Tyendinaga Township on September 26, 2022 at 11:55pm.

The value of the theft is estimated at $14,000.
