One person transported to hospital following single vehicle crash in Baltimore

One person was transported to a local hospital, Saturday night, after a single vehicle collision in Baltimore.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a single vehicle collision at Community Centre Road and Burwash Road just before midnight, Saturday evening. The involved vehicle was travelling westbound on Community Centre Road when it left the roadway at Burwash Road, through a fence and coming to a stop on a nearby front yard.

Three occupants were assessed on the scene by paramedics for injuries. One person was transported to a local hospital with only minor injuries.

The vehicle struck a hydro pole support wire, which caused a local power outage for Baltimore and it’s surrounding areas. Power was restored by Hydro One at approximately 2:40a.m., Sunday morning.
