Members of the Peterborough County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 7 at approximately 9:30pm last night. The vehicle fled from police but was located after it entered the ditch on Henderson Line. The uninjured driver was arrested without further incident.

Dejuan QUEST (age 33) of Toronto, was charged with:

• Flight from peace officer

• Dangerous operation

• Resist peace officer

• Drive motor vehicle-no licence

• Drive without proper rear light

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on March 3, 2023.
